Long known as being one of the fist choices when it comes to Knoxville, Tennessee Jam bands, Caution gives audiences the ultimate jam music experience, covering legendary jam bands like the Grateful Dead, Phish and Widespread Panic. Since 1994 Caution has been turning crowds on to jam music with a mass appealing, in-your-face approach to the jam band style. Caution has headlined numerous Bars and Clubs for NORML, and has even opened for national acts such as Cheap Trick & Sister Hazel. Each band member has extensive music backgrounds: Guitarist Shane Myers performed regularly with the late June Carter Cash, and keyboardist Stevie Jones played organ for Michael Allman of the Allman Brothers. Drummer Free J Supreme has won the annual Guitar Center drum-off 2 years in a row and counting, and Chris Towson was studio bassist for Miami Sound Machine. No set-list is ever the same, no song is ever played the same way twice. Caution truly provides a jam music experience like no other!
