Three vocalists together with trumpet, saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, and keyboards dazzle a wide array of audiences with a portfolio ranging from East Coast style beach music to Top 40 favorites, all performed in The O'Kaysions' trademark style. The O'Kaysions got their start on a small first-time North Carolina record label, where they recorded their biggest hit "Girl Watcher”. The record became a regional hit and was picked up by ABC Records before becoming a national hit.
"Girl Watcher" was listed in the Top 10 for nine weeks and in the Top 100 for twenty-six weeks.
Wayne Pittman, original member and manager of the group, has continued The O'Kaysions' audience appeal by performing favorite songs from the 60s to the 90s throughout the Southeast.
