Clay Cormier and the Highway Boys

Lafayette Louisiana’s own Clay Cormier and the Highway Boys truly have something for everyone to enjoy with their music. The band takes southern country brand of music to stages all over the southeast United States. Bringing a myriad of different sounds on their release, the band proves they are not a one trick pony, all while showcasing their tight musicianship in the process. While Clay and the guys have written incredible songs, they also cover country and southern rock hits when performing live.
Cormier, a very talented singer, songwriter, guitarist began playing music at the early age of eight. He spent two years at the Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts improving his vocal and guitar skills and during that time wrote and recorded his first two singles. After graduating from high school, Clay decided to form his own band and that was the beginning of Clay Cormier and the Highway Boys. Clay Cormier and the Highway Boys were influenced by several genres of music including country, rock, blues, pop, funk, Cajun and zydeco. After performing at many different venues in and around Lafayette, the band started broadening their horizons(touring other states).
